Went over to Joel's place... over the weekend to study, and also to go to his church today. Yesterday when I went to his place, we had potluck for dinner at his friend's, and everyone brought something. Meisi made sweet & sour beef patties (she calls them meatballs), Joey and Lydia brought steamed soy sauce rice, Zen brought scrambled eggs with ham, Joel brought burritos with a nice beef filling (and jalepenos!) and I brought along a mighty appetite. Haha... I didn't know that a pot luck was confirmed and so didn't think, or had time to prepare anything. My apologies gals and guy, I promise next time I'll contribute. :o) But knowing that you all are the sweet people you are you won't complain right? I knew you wouldn't. Oh and everything was deliiizzzcious.

Anyway, after the dinner, Joel had to go off for some function that his friend was at. He was needed to lend strength by his presence. Not so sure what it was all about, but luckily I had Meisi & the gals to keep me company. I was supposed to do more studying but since I had already achieved my quota for the day I decided to give it a rest as well. Ask the gals if any of them want to go jogging, since I needed someone to guide me on a route around Murdoch Uni but none of them wanted to go. (I think they were lazy to go lar..) So we went to Meisi's room to watch like some 80 "crap videos", as she calls them. Basically they were those sort of interesting advertisements, short video clips etc. It was kinda fun. After watching the clips we decided to go to a MacDonald's nearby to buy some milk shakes.

So off we went, happily bringing our jackets along. I was hoping to be drinking a milk shake down in like 10 minutes. - :The walk took like one hour...:- YES! ONE HOUR!!! These gals who were too tired to even go for a jog didn't mind walking for one hour to MAcDonald's for a milk shake!!??! Plus the return journey that would be 2 hours... Women are from Venus... Indeed...

The consolation was that the milk shake was nice, too bad Singapore's Mac's discontinued this product long ago. I really missed it. Oh and after I finished my shake I was feeling rather thirsty, so I thought of buying an orange juice. Joey commented that the cups for orange juice were rather small, so it's not worth it. Meisi, without thinking, told me to go ask the girl at the counter about the cup size. If you don't get it, let's leave it at that. If you did, you can imagine everyone's reaction. Joey was on the verge of vomiting milk (shake).

We walked back soon after that, and reached back at around 12.45am. It was a pretty nice night, and on the way back I had been telling the girls ghost stories from the army to while away the time. Meisi was so brave... She like not scared at all... (*dripping sarcasm*)Despite screaming when I suddenly patted her back.. So brave... (*drowning in sarcasm*) I hope she managed to get some sleep last night. Seriously though, I think she should be all right lar. Perhaps she won't be looking out of windows for some time after yesterday night, that's all.

Went to church with Joel in the morning today, service was all right. The sermon was real informative, and I learnt some interesting stuff. Pastor Benny Ho was pretty much of a joker. The sermon failed to inspire though, in my humble opinion. Perhaps I was too tired. Perhaps.

Had lunch at Taurus and I had mee goreng! It's been real long and it was real good, except for one part where I put the mee in my mouth while it was still too hot. Oww... Lucky I didn't get any burns. Next time must be more careful. Hoho...

Reached home at 3 plus and studied most of the day. So I'm gonna give myself a break now and continue tomorrow!
