I've been spending the past 2 days at Joel's place in Murdoch studying Macroeconomics, going to my own school in the day and returning at night. Seriously speaking though, Joel is always so kind to insist that I take his bed while he sleeps on the floor. Though he claims to like sleeping on the floor better, nonetheless the gesture is still kind and very much appreciated. That's why he's my "favourite favourite best friend". (Insert YMers laughter).

Went to Sizzler's with him and his cell group mates yesterday, as they had 2 upcoming birthdays together. Really enjoyed myself for a while, before my thoughts turned to this Saturday's exam again. If not for this exam, this whole examinations would really be a breeze. Sigh... Still need more work on my macroecons tomorrow before I can go for the paper on Sat. People pray for me please.

Bin commented on my previous posts regarding the aussie bloke. He complained that I wasn't being impartial and didn't bring out the aussie's side of the argument. Let's set things straight.

1) I ain't no journalist, don't expect me to be impartial.
2) The bloke deserved it.

My argument stands. No further submissions, Your Honour.

*UPDATE*
"Singapore unable to change its decision in Australian drug trafficking case", said Foreign Minister Yeo. The following are excerpts from the Channelnews Asia webpage. For the full article please go to http://www.channelnewsasia.com/stories/singaporelocalnews/view/176743/1/.html

"Singapore on its part has a responsibility to protect the people from the scourge of drug addiction which has destroyed many lives and inflicted great suffering on many families. "

"Mr Yeo noted that Nguyen imported almost 400 grammes of pure heroin which would have supplied more than 26,000 doses to drug addicts. "

"He said Singapore was unable to change its decision due to the seriousness of the offence and the need to hold firm the national position against drug trafficking. "

A very satisfying and rationale decision. Well-done, Singapore. I knew I could have faith in the Singapore judicial system.

Going to submit my job application tomorrow. Anyway it's for the position of part-time research assistant in my uni tomorrow. I really hope I can get this job, as it's going to be a boost to my income (tentatively zero), easy for me to get to work since it's in uni, and will look good in my resume in the future. Hope I get it..

This is gonna sound really mean, but I saw this article on the channelnewsasia page as well that had the title like "Deaf Indian performers dance without music ". It just tickles me. Please take the above with a light-hearted view. I am not trying to make fun of anyone.
