Studying studying studying... My next paper Marketing Law is coming up on Wednesday, followed closely by Business History on Thursday. I really hope to do well for these 2 papers, but it seems that I'm running out of time to prepare. God have mercy on me.

Looking at the news about the riots in France really makes me wonder about some stuff. For those of you who saw the news about it, you should know about the people who shot at the french police, resulting in 30 wounded policemen and 2 were particularly seriously injured. Fires were set everywhere. These rioters actually broke into houses and in one case, a 61 year old man was beaten into a coma and in another, a handicapped woman was doused with fuel on an ambushed bus. These were just a few examples of the atrocities committed. What are all these people thinking? Firemen fighting the fires they started are likewise targets of their acts, a fireman had his face disfigured by a Molotov cocktail, a reporter was kicked senseless. By these acts these people have shown us exactly how righteous their cause were.

I do not know the cause of the riots, or what ends they are protesting towards, but by their very actions they have lost the right to ask for anything. They are only condemning themselves by preying on the weak and even the people who are doing their job (excluding the riot police since retaliation on the riot police by a mob is not unusual. I am not saying it is right, just that it is not as wrong as the other abovementioned acts). So much for civilization. After thousands of years of advancement we end up in the Stone Age again. We've conquered space, made computer chips smaller than a finger nail, cloned a sheep, and these people can still do nonsense like these. I hope they are apprehended soon and shown no mercy, though in cases like these it is hard to catch most of the perpetrators and bring them to justice.

Sigh... Back to Marketing Law...
