Haven't has the strength to update for the past 2 days, so I better update now that I'm having my day off.
Saturday
Went for lunch at The Rising Sun with Tony, Tzu Yao and essentially the rest of the KFC gang from yesterday, as well as a few more Curtin people. Lunch was quite fun as we were all guys and so we swapped army stories all the way. We went shopping at Carousel after lunch, and proceeded home after that.
Sunday
Went to sell balloons in the morning at the Canningvale Flea Market. Business was not too bad, though it was pretty slow earlier in the morning.
When I reached home, I had to do my laundry, which included my bedsheets for this week. It was sure tiring man, esp when I was already feeling quite drained. Felt like slacking for the whole day... My sis and her hubby were already taking their afternoon naps when James and Iris called and said they were at the tavern nearby, and asked if they could drop in on us. And so after 5 minutes their car pulled up in the driveway and we spent some time drinking beer and "shooting the breeze".
My old blogskin died on me, I think the image was no longer hosted at the website that I got it from, so I had to come out with this new one. Don't really like this one though, so I shall be looking for something nice to switch to soon. And Tifanny: No there isn't any words on the circles, that's one reason that I don't like it. heh...
Monday
School starts again, weekends always zips by you while your back is turned. Had classes till 3pm today. After class, I was supposed to go to Matilda's bay for a surprise birthday party organised for Christina by her daughter Judy, who's also studying in UWA this semester. It was quite funny to see Christina's expression when she saw us at Matilda's bay. She just kept repeating,"Aiyoh, so malu... The whole world is here..." That was really funny. Heh.. But I think she was quite happy though..
After Christina's party, I had to go down to Timothy's house, as he is also having a birthday party. Tim, being a chef, cooked plenty of nice dishes for us to eat. It was really a case of east meets west, with dishes like prawns in garlic sauce (the garlic sauce was really nice, though I didn't touch the prawns), fried chicken, stir fried vegetables, fish-head curry, braised chicken, chilli mussels etc. It was a really satisfying meal, esp when Tim is a good cook.
Reached home very late last night, and had to go jogging at 10 plus. Must try to go earlier tomorrow.
