Went to Canningvale market this morning at the unearthly hour of 6.30am to sell my balloons again. The difference this time was that my helper was my uni friend Tzu Yao. (commando in the army, fave phrase," Pain is temporary, glory is forever!") It was really fun having him around, he's the first person whom I've seen who can take up one of my swords and really play with it for a few hours straight. From martial arts movement, fencing moves, to the Japanese ritual suicide, if it can be done with a balloon sword, you name it, he's done it. The good part was that lots of kids were impressed and business today was very good. Here's a picture of him with a sword. (He was pretending that it was NDP and he was doing all the sword drills at this time when I snapped it. Too bad it wasn't candid.)
