Had a bad night's sleep again yesterday night, perhaps due to the cold. These past 3 days have been so cold that I really respect Tzu Yao for still wearing his trademark bermudas. Imagine wearing berms in 3 degrees... He's really "garang" man.

So this morning I decided to see how bad it really is, and wore berms to school. Crap man... Won't try that again. I literally almost freezed my leg hair off. They were standing at "attention" the whole day.

Today was a pretty good day cause I had loads of fun talking to Joel, Tzu Yao, Xiao Hui, and Kenneth at the guild cafe today. Really lots of nonsense and crap-talk today. But it's really fun! They said that I was like really hyper today as well... Cannot sit still and kept talking and kept singing stupid songs. But it was really, really fun. I think I'll really miss these days next time. How would I get through my uni life without this favourite bunch of slackers and funny people. One of the fun things today was when Tzu Yao and I played a game. He will name a singer and I will sing any 2 lines from any of that singer's songs. So there was one part that went like this:

TY: "Trademark"

Ian: But only love can say, try again or walk away...

TY: "Andy Lau"

Ian: Ah ha, gei wo yi bei wang qing shui...

TY: "Jay Chou"

Ian: "mumble mumble..." =>nonsense lyrics since I'm not familiar with Jay Chou's songs

Really had a good laugh today. The whole school was practically deserted as it was a Friday, it was late afternoon, and exams are around the corner. The only people around are the slackers like us, and I was really happy and proud to be there. We are the Transit Club! That's because throughout the whole week, after our individual lectures or tutorials we will just go to the cafe and there will be at least one of us there, at least most of the time. And so many of us come and go by that it really seems like a transit lounge at the airport. Heh.. =P

Was really happy cause I found out that I scored the highest in the cohort for my Finance Law assignment. Yay!!! Really motivated to work hard for the exams now. :)

It struck me how I can do essays quite well now, whereas in secondary school, the way I would approach an essay is to just write everything that I know in there, and pray that I hit the right stuff. Then my teacher would send back the paper and I find that she has only written one word across the whole page, "vague". I thought "vague" was kinda a vague thing to say. So I wrote underneath it, "unclear", and sent it back. She returned it to me again, "ambiguous". I sent it back to her, "hazy". We are still corresponding to this day. Cloudy, muddy, indistinct, indeterminate, undefined...

That was the joke of the day, by the way. It didn't happen.
