Went to church this morning with my parents, aunt and uncle. They pretty much enjoyed the service, and Pastor Benny's sermon was very good today. Though my father commented that it was very long, he felt that Pastor Benny still managed to keep the sermon interesting and useful, and in his words,"was not the type of sermon that you just pray that the pastor will stop."
After service we went for lunch at Taurus together with Joel. We had a real fabulous lunch of mee goreng, hokkien mee, hor fun and combination rice. Whoo hoo~ Very full lunch... Phew~ At one point Joel and I said "no lar" together, and I couldn't resist but tap his head. After a pause of 2 secs, we said "no lar" again, and this time he tapped my head first. No fair.. Haha.. It sounds childish but it's really quite fun. Tests your alertness. :P
Joel came over to slack at my house for a while after lunch, before I sent him back at around 5pm. Went over to Meisi and Joey's flat to say hi as well, before heading home.
My aunt and uncle is heading back to Singapore tomorrow morning.. Will sure miss them. Haven't spent time with them like that since I was a real little (and cute) kid. At first I decided to skip jogging so that I can spend time with them. But in the end I ended up chatting with a friend over MSN for one hour till 10pm. I thought it was all right since it's still early. But when I went out to the living room, I realised that the whole house was in darkness... My aunt and uncle decided to sleep early today.. So sad... =(
Joey sent me a link to this video about "Hard Gay Ramen", from this Jap variety show. This gay poser is trying to drum up business for a failing ramen shop. It was really funny! Haha.. And the "gay" could really shake his bon-bons.. =P
Finally finished my LFB assignment today. I actually completed it yesterday, but was overlength by 1,500 words (the suggested length was 3,000 and I had 4,500). So I spent the afternoon today trying to economise on my word length. When I reached 3,900 words today I just gave up... When I read the assignment guidelines later I finally saw the fine print...
"There is no absolute word limit on this essay..."
In normal size you would actually see the words "There is no absolute word limit on this essay...". Those retired lawyers come to teach law in uni now still need to be so "lao gan" (old dry)... Those important things no need to put in fine print lar... Sigh... Wasted my time.
