Friday:
Went to school in the morning, attended lectures till 2pm, and finally finished my last day of school for this sem! The Transit Club were notably absent today, since most of them didn't have class on today. After school, I went down to Murdoch University. The busport was having some construction works, and so my bus 185 was late getting out of the busport, and therefore late in getting me to the Park "N" Ride for my connecting bus 98. A kind-hearted man I took the 185 with offered to send me to Murdoch Uni. That was really nice of him.
Went to Murdoch Uni and studied in their Walter's Cafe, before heading over to Meisi's flat, where I would be having dinner tonight. She offered to cook dinner for me, Joey and Huiqian, isn't that nice? Helped Meisi with some of the preparation and cooking, but she was still the main chef of the day. I'm only the cook's monkey. =P We had baked beans with mixed vegetables, pork chops with gravy, steamed egg, bean sprouts with pak choy, and vegetable soup wit bacon! They were all very nice, except for the steamed egg. Think we added too much water to it, but it was still all right.

After dinner, we sat and chatted for a while, before Meisi and I went to the Kardinya Tavern & Cafe Bistro nearby to have some drinks, dessert and a chat. I think the drinks there were not that good, the cake was all right, but the company, as always is excellent. I always appreciate these chats that we have. =) And in reply to Meisi's blog for the same event, yes, it's always good to talk about stuff and issues. And too bad that we didn't have a camera to take some pictures of the cakes and stuff.
Joel came to fetch us back to SV later on after his cell, and thank God that he did, because the night was really cold. In fact, Meisi was having so much fun blowing smoke out of her mouth. Kinda funny to see her so amazed. We went to Meisi's flat and had some drinks and games, and doing stupid forfeits. Joel fell asleep halfway though, haha... Here's some funy shots.

Peace on earth to the sound sleeper! From Left, Meisi, Joey, Hui Qian. Joel sleeping in center.

Joey's expression is so funny in the last picture. Haha.. Really funny QYC! We played musical chairs and sumBARdi played cheat and yanked the chair out from under me. Made me knock my head on the chair and smashed my butt on the floor. Now my head still hurts when I'm shampooing my head or thinking too hard... Ouch! But at least I could still walk straight after a couple of drinks. We played this game where everybody spinned in 10 complete revolutions, and see who could walk straight after that. The video we took was really funny, cause you can always see the same person spinning away out of the camera's view in the background. Heh...
Saturday:
Woke up late today after sleeping so late last night, aggravated by the alchohol. (I was not drunk, but it makes for great sleeping!) Went to Walter's Cafe to study again, with Meisi this time. We studied till we were chased away by the library staff as they were closing, and went back. Went to Zen's flat for a short while to chat with her and Lydia, before I went off to meet Joel, as we were going to Arthur's place for a guy's night BBQ. It was really fun! The food was good, beer was plentiful, and the guys had great fun just talking nonsense and reliving army days again. It was really funny that Arthur happened to know Jake, my ex-secondary school friend, and invited him as well. So we managed to catch up a bit, before we realised that Edwin (Suzanne's brother), who was there as well, knew Jake from way back as well. Something about bridge playing competitions. So it was a small world after all... (music) Really funny.
Played a bit of mahjong with Edwin, Ben and Arthur, but had to cut the game short. Went back to SV to collect my stuff from Meisi, and studied a bit before having supper with her and Joey. They cooked prawns in BBQ sauce, as well as grass jelly. I loved the prawns! So I couldn't bear to eat them, and had only the grass jelly and QYC's cookies. The grass jelly was ok, and the cookies were nice. Yummy!

Chef's at work: Joey and Meisi

From the way they were hunched over, you would think that they were the bomb disposal unit instead of hungry students just cooking BBQ prawns.

Sunday:
Decided to do this in a separate post.
