Met up with Joel (UWA) for a lunch and updated each other on stuff happening in our lives. Good luck for your driving test tomorrow yeah? Or in your words, "Tomorrow is the day you'll go zoom zoom!" Haha, sounds like one of my friends there. Oh yeah, and glad that you found the cheesecake not bad too, though it was strictly conforming with your personal preferences.

Went over to Sheraton Hotel to meet Rachel at around 4.30pm. She was still not feeling well, but didn't want to report sick as she wanted to taste my cheesecake. Touched by that... =) Really...

We went to the city for dinner, and originally planned to eat at Nando's, but the place was closed! So early! And it was only like 5pm. Chaiser. Walked around for a while and wound up choosing between Red Rooster and Mac's. She opted for Red Rooster's, so we went there for dinner in the end. My first time eating Red Rooster, and I think it is not nice. The burgers are a little different from the rest, but it was rather cold. When we left, there was this Indian guy who was quarrelling with one of the staff, and he was eventually thrown out by security. When I walked out of the restaurant, he came up to me like he wanted to say something, but in the end just stopped right there and didn't say anything. Perhaps he was stunned by my "smouldering gaze". Don't know why, but I just didn't want to entertain him. =P

We intended to go for coffee after the dinner, but Rachel was really feeling very ill already, so we decided to go get shakes from Mac's and have it in her hotel room, and catch up there as well. At Mac's, the service was not very good, and if you guys think that I'm fierce when dealing with poor service, you should check out Rachel in action. She's much better than me man. I really admit defeat. She didn't earn the nickname "chilli padi" from me years ago for nothing.

On the way back, we spotted this guy urinating/masturbating along Adelaide Terrace. It was so gross... But he actually apologised, so I was wondering if he is one of those who have a bladder problem. Nevertheless, it was really disgusting and I tried to shield Rachel's eyes before she saw it, but I was too late. She was cool about it, though she was equally disgusted.

Chatted a little in her hotel room, and had the shakes. Hmm... The shakes from the Mac's at Ha Street was actually damn good! Better than the other Mac's at High Street. Even better than Fast Eddy's one, I feel. The quality disparity you can find here is really... Like certain KFCs tastes like crap here, while others are good.

Took a couple of pictures on Rachel's Polariod, and I drew one at random to keep. Nice eh?

Ian & Rachel

It's amazing how technology progresses. She bought the camera in Japan, and it's pretty cool. I wish that the border was not Hello Kitty though. It's a little too soppy for me. Had a little chat, but she was really zoning out. Could tell that she was really not well, and we called for a doctor. Put a wet towel on her head for her while she slept, and waited for the doctor. 2 hours later the doctor still had not arrived. Crap... Australian efficiency...

All zoned out

Took a couple of pictures of myself (narcissism at work) while waiting for the doctor. The wait was really boring, cause Australian TV has nothing much to offer. Boring... Oh, and Rachel, you don't have to feel bad about not being able to accompany me yeah? I know you're not well.

Boredom (I dedicate this pic to Xiao Jing who said I'm handsome =P)

I think I caught the flu bug as well. Was already feeling under the weather since yesterday, and I think I just got worse. Better go rest early, I still need to work tomorrow. Oh, and Rachel didn't get to try my cheesecake, cause she was really too ill to eat stuff. (and thinking about it, the milkshake was bad actually... Tsk tsk..) Eat it when you're better and let me know whether it's nice* yeah? =)

*of course it's nice
