Friday:
Went to school in the morning, before meeting King Kong at the guild cafe. We went over to Xiao Hui's house for some mahjong! Haha, it's really becoming some weekly fixture, but I expect it to end soon with our school work piling up.
At night, Danny came over while King Kong had to go for work. We went down to Cicerello's at Freo for dinner, as Xiao Hui wanted to bring her auntie, who is here for a short holiday, there for dinner the next day but didn't know the way. We had lots of food, but managed to polish off everything within 20 minutes. Cool eh?
After dinner, we went down to Ciao Italia so as to try the Tiramisu that Danny recommended. But after reaching there at 8.30pm, there was still a long queue, and we estimated that it'll at least take us an hour to queue. In the end we agreed to come back another day. So disappointing... But the food and service there must really rock for there to be still such a long queue after the peak hour.
Saturday:
Went over to Murdoch to meet Meisi, before heading down to Carousel for some shopping. We had Charcoal Chicken for lunch. And the verdict is... Charcoal chicken does not taste too bad, but you will get pretty sick of the chicken fast enough. And the side (we had cream potatoes) was nice, but way too salty. Stick to Nando's or KFC instead.
After lunch we went shopping for her shoe organiser. It's this thing which you hang for the horizontal bar of your wardrobe, and it has separate slots for your stuff, eg. undergarments, socks, ties, and in her case, shoes. We ended up going to and fro from K-mart and Target, and the Red Dot store because she couldn't decide which was nicer.. Kinda reminded me of playing pinball. =P
After shopping, we went to my house to watch Pirates of the Carribean 2. The show is not too bad, though I found that there was not enough action at times. Perhaps the video quality had something to do with it as well. Anyway, it's still not too bad, but I dislike the abrupt ending as well...
Fixed up some dinner for the both of us, and while having dinner, we watched this show on TV called "Black Knight", starring Martin Lawrence. The jokes in that show was crappy to say the least, but for some reason it was still funny and enjoyable. Sent her home after that, and I was so tired that on the return journey I just zonked out while driving. Thank God I woke up and was shocked to see that I was veering off the freeway and was about to hit the road shoulder. Really had a scare...
Sunday:
Woke up darn early to go Canningvale to sell balloons. I was really in a state of half-daze, but had to drag myself to Canningvale to make some money to cover expenses. Really felt like procrastinating, but decided not to put if off since the weather was fine today. At Canningvale, I got a really bad location for my stall. To my left and right, the stalls were selling soft toys. Opposite me, the stall was selling soft toys and remote controlled cars. Further down, they were selling flowers. Since I sell balloon swords and flowers, these were fierce competitors. At the end of the day, I didn't get to sell much stuff. Enough to cover expenses, but not a lot. Sigh...
Went home and zonked out straight. Woke up in the afternoon to finish my research on Australia, but horrors! The United Nations website is down for maintenance. Chaiser... Told Michael about it (he's the one I'm doing the research for) and he was sian also... Sigh... What can we do but wait.
