Spent my day in school as usual, before going to apply for a part-time tutoring position in the law office for next year. I really hope I get it though, as I think the teaching experience would be really relevant, not to mention the help my pay would go towards my ever enlarging expenses.

The highlight of the day was after school, when a group of us went to sample the cuisine at Ciao Italia, this Italian restaurant which is recommended for its fantastic food and wonderful service. The restaurant really lives up to its name! The food was fantastic, and the service was personal and jovial, and we were the group laughing the loudest that night and making the most noise. =) But if you are thinking of going there, it is recommended that you have plenty of time on your hands. Firstly, the restaurant does not take reservations, and there is always a long queue outside. We reached when the restaurant just opened at 6pm, and we got a table only 45 mins later. The food came only 45 mins after we ordered as well. But trust me when I say it is all worth it!

We had 2 pizzas (I think the name was margherita and something else that starts with C, but both were vegetarian as Chee Kong is vegetarian), a chicken main dish, a veal main dish, the Fettucine "Ciao Italia", and Tiramisu as well as Chocolate Eclaire for desserts. Yummy! Everything was good, especially the chicken dish and the desserts. Really really superb. The funny thing was when Chee Kong was still hungry and ordered another vegetarian pasta after the meal. (He is not a glutton, just that the vegetarian pizzas were shared so he obviously wouldn't have enough. )

After we had finished our meal (except for Chee Kong), we wanted to order the desserts already, but the nice waiter admonished us and told us to wait for our friend to finish eating so that he can share the desserts as well, before turning to Chee Kong and saying, "Cepat Makan! Cepat cepat!", which is Malay translated as "Eat faster! Faster faster!". That was really funny.

Here are some photos of the happy faces we had before the food came.

Friday:
I stayed the night over at Xiao Hui's after Ciao Italia with Tsu Yao, as we were going to escort her to the airport for her holiday back in Singapore. So lucky... We woke up on time, but didn't manage to leave on time... In the end, I was late for my tutorial at 10am, as I didn't have time to make it back to school from the airport, and had to attend a make-up at 11am instead.

Went for lunch with Tsu Yao at Taurus after school, before heading home. So tired... Slept late last night, as I was helping Xiao Hui apply for her internship at various Singaporean Banks, not to mention the sofa bed which I had to share with Tsu Yao at her place. *Yawns*...
