The sky is grey as if it had cried

The sour air, guards the distance between us
An ending that has lost its heart
Unable to stop like breathing
The yellowish diary in the drawer
Found our memories
How that smile was silly
The past of you and I
Has really been deeply forgotten
A love starved of air
Heartfelt tears are needed
I know that we were not at fault
We just forgot how to take a step back

Were all broken by time
