Had lunch with my parents, and my father cracked lots of lame jokes as usual. Wanted to watch Kungfu Hustle DVD with my parents, who haven't caught it yet, but my DVD player's remote broke down, so we had to skip on that.
My mum chased me out to go jogging, so I went on a jog from Tampines to Pasir Ris at 3pm. The weather was fine today, but the route changed quite a bit. In Singapore, construction is popping up like bean sprouts, and getting completed pretty fast as well, so my usual route has more added twists and turns in it now. Timing was bad, over an hour for 6 km. I think I need to spend some hard work on it. Well, I've got some time to do it I guess.
Went to meet Joel, Gabriel and Ching for dinner today. We were at Chilli Padi in Joo Chiat. The food was ok, quantity was a little small, and the price was a little steep. But thanks to Gabriel for the treat anyway! Went down to East Coast for coffee and cakes after that, and I enjoyed the chatter. Gab and Ching are still the same madcaps as ever. You guys brighten up my day so much.
Met up with Mel finally, who's a pretty busy dude now. He's got like 2 more places to fly to next week, and he is only just back from Japan. Great catching up with you buddy. Hope you like the shirt I got you from Perth. You better wear it... =PTake me away from memories. What do I yearn for?
