A backlog...

19th Dec:

Went down to Suntec City a little earlier to meet a friend for coffee. Thanks for the sushi you made. It is delicious, and I appreciate it a lot.

Met up with the gang from Perth later on, and we went to the Outback Steakhouse at Millenia Walk for dinner. The Bushman Shrooms there are still as good as ever. Definitely recommended, especially for mushroom lovers!

My present was put into a Sony Ericsson handphone box in order to throw the scent off. I admit I initially got a shock when I saw it, but it turned out to be something I really wanted inside. Thanks guys!

Thanks to Raine, Joel, Joo, Lydia, Baron, Dwi Jin, Hui Qian, Yan, and Meisi for this outing! And I so love the Ipod you guys got for me. Here's a big thank-you to other church mates who contributed to the gift as well. Thanks heaps! =)

Gabriel came to join us after dinner. We initially wanted to go somewhere else, but in the end only Dwi Jin, Gabriel, Joel and I went for teh tarik at the Joo Chiat area. Thanks Dwi Jin for sending us home!

20th December:

The day of my birthday proper! Went down to Leen's new shop to find her hard at work, trying to implement my marketing advice. Spent some time and effort, not to mention sacrificing our delicate noses, for a while decorating her shop to give it some Christmas spirit. Snow spray smells real bad and is quite difficult to do when you don't have proper stencils.

I told her to pose for a funny pic, but she turned out scary...=P

Our masterpiece! (Cannot really see)

At around 7pm, Dinah and Kat came to pick us up, and they arrived with my birthday cake. Cut the cake on the spot, and it tasted pretty good. The "cake" was actually 3 different ones, which we ate on the spot.

We went down to Suntec City to pick Eddie up from work and to have dinner. Went to soup restaurant, and the "Samsui Chicken" there is really not bad. Nice nice...

Our feast at soup restaurant

Went down to this place called Mind's cafe at the Bugis area after dinner. It is actually this cafe where they offer board games etc, and we had lotsa fun trying out different board games. After a while, the waitress brought out my real birthday cake! The cakes earlier on were only bought because the gals were hungry... My birthday cake rocks! It tasted so darn good that I wanna have some again! Mmm... Passionfruit cake is just so yummy!

We went to catch the movie "A Night at the Museum" after that. The movie is good and funny and interesting! At least I didn't look at my watch at all during the whole time, which means that there was no boring parts. Go catch it soon before it is not showing anymore!

I love my birthday present again! Thanks for the nice Fossil watch that I've been eyeing for some time, dear. But somebody was real sneaky about it huh... And how did you know which one I wanted to buy? =P

I'll update more soon. I'm so sorry that it's taken so long for my updates!
