Saturday:
Nothing much to blog about over the weekend, except that I was busy working at HFC for my weekend Santa Claus gigs. Raine and Baron were supposed to come over to visit, but in the end couldn't, thus resulting in a 5 hour boredom break for me. Took the time to go check out VivoCity properly, but I think it's really over-rated. The shopping aisles are too winding, so it's really hard to find a shop you are looking for, especially with the crowd. Joel (Murdoch) had this theory that out of Singapore's 4 million population, about half is at Orchard. I guess the other half are in VivoCity. The place is really packed. They should start giving cans of sardines as door gifts man.
Made lotsa new friends doing my gigs here. Firstly, this is the Youth Acapella team from Republic Poly. Their singing isn't much to shout about, but they make up for it with their enthusiasm. That's me in the center by the way.
Got to know some tenants in shops around HFC, now I've got discounts in some shops there. Cool eh? Heh heh heh... Whee~~
Got to know Shaun and Adi, the roadies from the event organiser for HFC.
Got to know Kumar from Harry's the pub at HFC, who wanted a teddy bear for his newly-wedded wife. His friend, this really pretty ABC called Sabrina, pleaded with me for a few minutes, and I decided to do them a favour. (I was supposed to hand out a 1 metre tall teddy bear as part of a Santa Spots the Shopper Contest) Kumar treated me to free beer after my gig, so it was all good. =)
More to come. Backdating still in progress.
