I decided to start a new water parade regime starting Monday, after a conversation with bestie Mel which went like:

Ian: Last time they always say one day should drink 8 glasses of water. How much is that?

Mel: Probably 3 - 4 litres. It's really good for health. Last time when I was working for MTV I drank like 6 litres a day because I had nothing better to do.

Ian: Really? Now typically one day I drink only 2 litres I think. Think I should drink more.

So it was that I came to start my regime on Monday. After the morning water parade, I went to school and started my teaching. After one class, I had to go for my consultation period. The high tide was coming in, but unfortunately, there were students waiting to see me. After my excruciating one hour, I hurried to the Economics building toilet. It was closed for cleaning! And I was late for my appointment with my supervisor, so I had to hurry there. After all, our meetings normally take all of 5 minutes, so I guess I can withstand for that time period.

Our meeting took 1 hour today. And after that one hour, I rushed to the next nearest toilet at the Law building. It was "Closed for renovation".

老大, 你们玩我...

As a side note, tutors do feel guilty when they look at the faces of students whose assignments they've failed. That's true for me at least.

As a further side note, I would like to say a big thank-you to all the people who have been really encouraging this period. I have been under a lot of stress, esp due to my honours work, but I have gotten tonnes of encouragement from you people. Thanks for all the "pats on my back", as well as "kicks on my arse". They really do keep me going.

Special mentions:

1) to my dad, who knows that I'm undergoing lots of pressure, and despite being the provider of my scholarship, keeps telling me to take it easy. I really appreciate that from the bottom of my heart.

2) to the UWA gang who has been quite encouraging, and being there for studies, GP3, dinner, mahjong, etc.

3) to those special people who has talked to me about not quitting honours and offering encouraging words --> Nikki, Jean, Tasha, Joel, Jaslyn, Angeline, Mel, Leen & Kat.

You guys are the reason why I am still going on. Thanks!
