My good friend has left for Melbourne to pursue her career. While I've known her only for one semester, I would have to say she is easily the best person to talk to, while chilling over a cup of coffee. She has such a dry sense of humour, and such an alive wit about her that in one of the rare times in my life, I've gone from entertainer to throughly entertained, and I love that so much! I'll definitely miss her. Alas, gone are the days when we can sit down and bitch about the Chinaman. Take care, my dear friend.
And the next item would be Baron's birthday! Hope you had a good celebration, and thanks for the dinner treat! The birthday surprise (the cake) was horrendously ruined by the extremely dumb waiting staff. Honestly, a criteria for working there must be 'a lack of common sense'. firstly, throughout the dinner, they were spilling stuff, serving sauces etc darn slowly, and the worst moment was when we secretly asked for the cake to be brought out.
They took so long that we had to go to the kitchen to check on it, and when they brought out the cake, they brought it out unlighted, so that we had to light it in front of Baron. We wanted a 'Kodak moment', not an 'Australia Funniest Home video'. Anyway, here are the pics.
