Anyway, I had this nagging thought in my head ever since I had this conversation with Joel (UWA). Where do flies go to at night? They are so rampant in the day, but all disappear at night. So where do they go to? The plausible explanations are:
1) They have a lifespan of 24 hours (or thereabouts) and hence die at night. New ones appear every day.
2) They go to sleep, perhaps in some rubbish bin somewhere.
3) They are hanging around some chill-out spot, waiting for the morning to come.
What do you think?
