Xiao Hui and I sent Angeline to the airport yesterday. Before we went, Xiao Hui curled Angeline's hair for her, while I was the image consultant. Haha... She looks quite good with curled hair (the more mature and sophisticated look). =D
Finally done with all uni stuff for this year!!! Woke up at an unearthly hour (ok it was 7am but it's unearthly cause I am supposed to be having my hols) to invigilate the Introduction to Law exams. It was voluntary and unpaid, but I decided to go so that I can see my students and wish them luck before their papers. :D
The lecturers and I were supposed to check the materials they were allowed to bring in to the exam for any handwriting, as they were allowed law statutes that is unannotated (highlighting etc allowed but not written words). I still caught a few students with unauthorised statutes in the end, and THEY WERE ALL MY STUDENTS!!! "Diu lian"... Hahaha. If this were ancient Japan I would have to ask the unit coordinator for permission to take my own life.
But that still does not beat students from other classes who brought calculators into this Law exam. *scratch head*
And this was one of the actual questions in the exams, which comprises 41 MCQ and 2 essays.
Peter Piper picked a peck of ___________.
a) peppers
b) elegant sufficiency
c) elephants
d) strawberries
e) pick this answer to get credit for this question. We just made life easier. Have a nice day. =)
I'm not kidding you.
And apparently, I was featured in the exam paper as well, with me finding a lost dog and claiming the reward from the owner. Funny sense of humour that the unit coordinator has. He happens to be the lecturer with whom I had a verbal argument with in my first year here. I will say he is certainly big enough not to bear grudges though. =)
All's done, and all's well. ;)
