2 days to D-Day

2 days to d-day, and I'm still hunkering down in front of my comp, racking my brains for words to write and things to pack (yes I'm not done yet--- should I bring the kitchen sink?). Feeling very tired, but very loved by friends and loved ones. Things have not been going well, and yes I admit there have been times that I feel so alone but the past few days is as good a reversal of that testimony as I've ever felt.

Received so much presents from people that it feels like Christmas without the Orchard Road lights. I feel absolutely giddy now... Can't wait to play my munchkins and listen to my new MP3 player and start practising on my new magic video using the new poker cards (Woo Hoo for all the prezzies but more so for the people who gave them!!!!) and also to watch the interest in the bank accumulate after new year ang pows and farewell ang pows. Lurve ya all people. Bet that makes you go all warm inside huh?

Anyway for Joel's munchkin set that he gave me today (yes you were right I absolutely love it), I was packing the cards into card protectors today at Shaw Towers Cafe when a gust of wind blew a card right into the drain. I jumped down into the drain only to find that it was actually 3 metres deep and managed to salvage the now slightly damp and pooey smelling card. My leg hurts like crap and my heart aches for the card... It was a minor miracle that I could get myself out as well. Thank God for BMT training... So indeed army is useful.

Anyway I shall try to post my escapades and adventures in Australia as often as possible here, on recommendation of Sherlyn and Lova, to keep you guys posted.

Watch this space.
