Today was the end of orientation, and we had a commencement address by the Vice-Chancellor of the Uni. After that went for O day, which is when all the clubs and societies set up their stalls and try to get people to sign up. You won't believe the things that are here and the weird and kirky costumes some of these people are wearing. Kinda exciting actually. I personally signed up for the SSS (not the Singapore Secret Service but the Singapore Students Society) and the UJC (what does this stand for?) Not gonna reveal what UJC stands for now but try to fathom a guess, people.
After school, went home and slacked till around 7 plus before heading out for dinner with my family. Went to this Indonesian restaurant at Northbridge which serves decent food at relatively cheap prices. The proprietor was a nice guy too, who makes the experience quite personal by going around the tables making sure everyone is enjoying the food.
End of day, something unpleasant happened which I'm not in the mood to say now, or think I ever will. But it's a pain in the arse type of problem and will probably be around till I leave this place. Meanwhile my stay here might be quite unpleasant. Oh well..
Ran out of books to read here too. Boring... Need to find some cheap books to buy and read while I'm around here.
