It's gonna be a long week at school but at least the Easter break is gonna be here soon!!! Yay!!! Went to school to meet my friend Charlene to do our EBS assigment today, at our Reid Library cafe, and guess who we saw there? The Monetary Econs tutor. Tried to take a picture of him but it's a little blurry. I'll try to get a better pic soon. Girls, keep your eyes peeled.
Got stuck at a part of the assignment, couldn't proceed from there, as the answers behind hinges on this particular answer, sigh... Even after asking around, I realised that everyone else was stuck there. Decided to try to ask Dr Nazim for help. He turned out to be a very approachable fellow, very unlike himself during lectures. Anyway he gave me a little help on my problem, and finished off by saying rather cryptically, " When you attempt it later on, you'll find that the answer was actually very obvious and you will kick yourself for not seeing it for what it is in the first place." Kinda all riddle like eh? Well as it turns out, he was exactly right!!! The answer was very obvious, haha, but it managed to stump the entire cohort, as everyone was stuck there.
Went for my lab lesson later on, and saw Mr Paki, who was the lab tutor for the day. Took 2 pictures of him to satiate the people who have been curious about his appearance after he made his debut in my blog entitled "@#%#$!!! ". He looks kinda dodgy in those pics, yeah? Kinda like trynig to blend in but all the more conspicuous...
All right, enough about school work. Anyway here's a little about Aussie trivia. See that picture of the "Patron Pager"? In some of the restaurants or eateries where they practice self-service, they sometimes provide this patron pager thingy, whereby it rings and has little red bulbs shining up when your food is ready for collection. Just bring the pager back to the counter, where the staff will scan it to check what items you are receiving and you will get your food in due time. Quite a good idea actually, rather than have lots of customers hanging around the counter.
