Fell sick after all the studying and playing, now I'm feeling very down with a flu and sore throat, argh....
Anyway I've got this thing to write down. One amazing thing was my Monetary Economics tutorial, where my tutor was this young looking guy. In fact I think he is a fresh graduate. Anyway the best way I can think of describing him is a "beach dude". He was quite good looking (not trying to be gay here but I gotta admit he's handsome though), had long hair just slightly above the shoulders, came to teach his tutorial in t-shirt, bermudas and slippers, and has got this simply infectious sense of humour. Oh and he taught the entire tutorial sitting down with both his legs on another chair. I bet that's something you'll NEVER see in Singapore. So anyway he starts off by saying that the whole tutorial was stupid and has got nothing to do with Monetary Economics, astounding eh? He was actually quite right, as the questions seem to be more on International Trade stuff but don't get me wrong, he knew his stuff all right. He was able to answer all the questions we threw at him, and asked us enough in return to give us some serious thinking, as well as mingling some jokes into the whole session. It was all in all quite an enjoyable session. Maybe next tutorial I will be able to take some pictures to show ya. :P
On Friday after school went for juggling club, spoke to another girl Leia (I think that's the correct spelling) about balloon twisting, as we will both be doing balloon twisting at the shopping malls and before long we had our balloons out and were showing each other what we can do. Before long we had an interested crowd, and I was left to handle them as Leia left soon after for her classes. A few of the juggling club members asked me to teach them (the rule of juggling club is that you see anyone doing anything, you can go up and ask to be taught) and before long I had 5 disciples. Oh yes another point to note is that although it is called juggling club, there are many things to learn here. Apart from juggling balls and pins, they do "diablos", "devil sticks", uni-cycling, stilt walking, and now balloon twisting. I wonder what other hidden skills there will be to learn and pick up.
After juggling club (you start and leave anytime you like, depending on your own classes) I went to do my EBS assignment, and it's more than halfway done now. Hopefully I can finish it over tomorrow and start studying for my Microecons test. Looking forward to the Easter break. Come quick!!!
