It's my week 3 academically, that means about the 4th to 5th week that I arrived in Aussie. Seems to have passed pretty fast but I'm feeling the heat already. Couldn't manage to squeeze time out to blog, as I've been finding no time for blogging these few days.
But anyway, I just recalled one noteworthy thing last Sunday. As we just arrived at the church, we could see Guo Chao Uncle furtively pacing the church, and upon noticing our arrival, he walked towards us with purpose. I wondered what could possibly be his intentions. As we stepped out of the car, he gave us the widest grin on his face and produced a newspaper clipping from his pant's back pocket. He was featured in one of the weekly newspaper for catching an 11kg fish, and the article was entitled "Lee's Dream Comes True". Kinda funny to think the comic old man was camping outside church to share with us his moment of glory. Heh..
Went back to school on Monday, and the doldrums starts again. It was pretty much the same on Mon and Tues, attending lecture after lecture, tutorial after tutorial. I am feeling pressured as all the units are quite tough and at times I simply have no clue of what's going on but I'm sure I'll figure a way out somehow. Watch "Constantine" at Carousel for 5 bucks again. Don't like the show at all, for the weak plot, multiple cliches, blasphemy of God etc. One popcorn out of five.
Went for my Finance and Statistics tutorial today. Both my tutors for this subjects are good, explaining the difficult stuff in detail real well. My Stats tutor is a new one as I have gotten rid of Mr Paki, if you recall in my previous post. My new tutor is am Australian called Gemma Camby, probably my age, fresh out of uni, and she does a very good job teaching. I really understood this tutorial and feel good for the first time, haha. Gonna hit the books again now.
