Mugging mugging mugging...

Spent the whole of yesterday and today preparing for my Intro To Finance paper on Tuesday, otherwise also known as Intro to Failure. Sigh... After all that mugging I still feel a little queasy, as I still haven't gotten everything down pat. Tomorrow I will start studying Microeconomics, also on Tuesday. Help me...

Last Thursday during my Microecons tute, we had a question that involves the economics of Australia following in Singapore's footsteps and imposing Road Pricing. Our tutor needed a Singaporean to explain what Road Pricing is like, as the Aussies didn't understand anything about such a alien concept.

So anyway the tutor asked if there were any Singaporeans in class, I could see at least 5, but to the stupid aussies we asians look the same anyway so they couldn't tell. In the end as luck would have it, I happened to catch the tutor's eye when I turned around and he asked me if I was Singaporean. The next 5 minutes was a mini lecture by Dr Ian Li on ERP in Singapore and the effects of the ERP.

Planted some new flowers in the garden, we have daffodils, snapdragons, blue moons and another sort whose name I don't recall. All of them are beautiful though.

Had laksa today for lunch, bought from Spencer Village. For $6 it's pretty nice and worth it (in Aussieland at least). Studied the whole morning and night and went for a jog at around 5pm, all the way trying to repeat the formulas for finance in my head. Sigh... I want to go back to Singapore...
