It's been really long since I had such a relaxed weekend, no studying this time, except for some light reading for my EBS and Monetary Econs assignments. Had Peking Duck at a Chinese Restaurant for lunch yesterday, and it was good. Mmm..
Woke up early this morning, and decided to try to see if EBS test results are available yet. I got 80%!!!! Yay!!! A good start for a day. Went to the Canningvale flea market to perform balloon twisting and earn some extra cash, I'm running pretty low on cash now and I do need some extra income. At the beginning, I had no sales for 2 hours and was pretty demoralised already. I decided to change my sales strategy and price my balloons cheaper and the money just came rolling in... At the end of the half day, I made a good profit. Haha.
Met Sonny and Christina at the flea market, they were there doing some browsing and they also invited me to their house for lunch after I finished my stint. I just like talking to Sonny, though he's old enough to be my father already. We just love to sit there on Sunday afternoons and complain about the Aussies, heh... I've a standing invitation to go his house every Sunday afternoon for the "bitching session" now. It helps that we attend the same church so it's pretty on the way, and he stays within a 10 minutes drive anyway.
Went jogging as usual, and on the way I saw a big beautiful rainbow, an incredible arch of pretty colours, descending from amongst the clouds into the horizon. Absolutely stunning, it almost took my breath away but I had to keep jogging. Finally got to do my long delayed gardening and transplanted my Snapdragon seedlings into the soil, they were on the brink of death. I'll post pictures of my newest babies when I get to take pictures of them.
Gotta start work on my EBS project already, it's due Friday and I better get a headstart...
