Just a short Update

Came online to do a short update. EBS test draws near, and I'm still so unprepared for it, I have no idea at all what's going on about the Uniform Distribution!!! Despite assurances from friends also taking EBS that Uniform Dist is easy, real easy compared to other stuff that we studied, I find myself drawing a blank when looking at the notes. This is bad. At least it's the final test for EBS for the semester.

It's Microecons tute tomorrow, conducted by my psychic tutor who knows exactly which question I don't know how to answer and will call upon me to answer that exact same question. God deliver me...

Weekend is coming, and I rather welcome this weekend, it's one of the rare few that I should be able to go out and play a while for rather than mugging for tests, that is if I can complete my EBS final assignment and do some readings for my monetary econs assignment.

My exams starts 13th and ends 18th. It is frightening to note that it ends exactly a month from now. I hope that I have enough time to cover everything... I got my air ticket confirmed for the 19th June already, it is indeed a divine miracle that my exams end 18th, the magic show I talked about has been finalised and scheduled to be performed on the 18th evening as well, so I can fly back on the 19th. Fantastic, though it means that I'll be taking 2 exams on the 18th, one morning, one afternoon plus my magic show at night. Busy day huh? Oh yes and I simply must take this chance to bitch about the aussies and their work inefficiency again. I called Valuair's Perth office to change my airplane booking to an earlier date, and got put on hold several times only to hear the line cut off. I called the airline office in Singapore instead and settled the entire affair in less than 3 minutes. Australians should stick to rearing sheep, at least animals will understand delays better, or at least can't do anything about it.

Decided to reward my regular fans of this blog with this little interesting bit of trivia. Bus stops in Australia are a little different from Singapore's, in the sense that most of them are not the big sheltered affairs you see on any Singapore streets. Once you move away from the city area into the suburbs, you see only little posts that point out that this is the place where you wait for buses or alight. When you are going to unfamiliar territory, this can be potentially dangerous as you stick your head out looking out for the place to stop. I will post a picture of the little thing above.
