Sitting, Waiting, Wishing

That's the name of a song that irks me and yet makes me like it at the same time. Weird...

Anyway today's weather was dismal and miserable, it was raining since the morning and I got all wet standing there at the Canningvale market making balloons for little kids who do not seem to be in the mood for balloons today. Why you little...

Had dinner at Lok Fook Chinese Restaurant at Northbridge today as it's Tiffanie's birthday. It's only her 21st birthday and she's like married to Tim last year, so I was quite surprised when I realised that she is only 21 and even younger than me. Some gals will envy her while some gals will feel lucky at not being tied down so early. Anyway, the dishes were excellent and this is the best chinese meal I've had in Perth so far. And we finished off the meal with a cheesecake that Tim baked for her, it looked so good and tasted so fabulous as well, it was even better than most cakes from bakeries! But that's normal considering that he's a chef. I'll post pictures of the cake when I get it, you just have to see it for yourself. I want to learn how to bake such a cake for my dearest sweetest little pumpkin mumkin wumpkin, who still doesn't exist yet though. Damn. Maybe it's the cake factor that I lack...
